Ministry Blogging?

Yesterday's staff meeting at HUSA got me thinking.

They want to add a blog to the main webpage, and want staff (one per month) to blog 3 times per week!

Seems like a lot.

What about six staff once every other week scheduled out? I bet the pace picks up once folks got used to it.

Seems the decision was made prior to discussion (which was long, some very pro, others 'what's a blog?')...

You're saying 1 every other monday, 2nd staffer on Wednesday, 3rd every other Friday type deal?


In all fairness they want people to get to know our 'personalities' as we go along, which they feel will show better a month at a time. Personally people may get my better traits regularly if I didn't have a 2-3 mandatory posts for 4+ weeks. :::smirk:::
 
either way as long as it is consistent people will get to know their personalities. Some blogs have multiple authors and just as long as they are consistent and spread out... the blog will have traffic and the bloggers will gain an audience.

However, it shakes out, I think it is a good move.
